Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

Seenime is operated by OrashCat LLC, 8206 LOUISIANA BLVD NE, STE A #10214, ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87113, United States. OrashCat LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact privacy@seenime.com for privacy requests, or support@seenime.com for help with the Service.

2. Information and sources

We receive information you provide, information generated when you use Seenime, and account information from a sign-in provider if you choose that sign-in method.

• Account and profile information: email address, authentication information, username, display name, avatar, banner, biography, location, pronouns, language and interests you choose to provide. Optional profile fields can be left blank.
• Content and social activity: anime libraries and lists, posts, comments, reactions, follows, bookmarks, cosplay projects, progress notes, uploaded images, and notification preferences.
• Safety and support: block and mute selections, reports, report targets and reasons, review status, support correspondence, and records needed to investigate abuse.
• Technical information: requests, IP address, browser/device information and operational logs used by hosting and authentication providers for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Optional Vercel analytics and performance measurements are described below.
• Email recipients: account contact details or addresses and personalization fields supplied by an authorized campaign administrator. Administrators must have permission to contact recipients; having a Seenime account alone is not marketing consent.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use information necessary to provide the service you request: creating and authenticating accounts, storing your library and projects, displaying content, and delivering requested social features and account messages. Where applicable, this processing is necessary to perform our agreement with you.

We use necessary security, abuse-prevention and support information for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting Seenime, subject to applicable law and your rights. Legal obligations may require us to preserve or disclose specific records.

Optional website analytics and performance monitoring use your consent. Promotional email requires the recipient permission applicable to that campaign; administrators must retain evidence of opt-in. You can refuse analytics, withdraw consent or unsubscribe without losing core account features. We do not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Public content and private controls

Profiles, usernames, profile images, profile details, anime lists, posts, comments, reactions and follow relationships can be visible to other people, including signed-out visitors. Public profiles, posts and anime pages may appear in search engines and our sitemap. Do not add information you want to keep confidential to public fields or posts.

Cosplay projects have visibility controls; projects marked public and their shared updates may be displayed publicly. Bookmarks, block/mute selections, private projects and report records are not included in the sitemap. Reports are available to the reporting member and authorized reviewers. Blocking or muting does not make previously public information confidential.

Other people and search engines may retain copies of public content after you remove it. We cannot directly erase copies held independently by others.

5. Providers, disclosures and international processing

We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Vercel for website hosting and optional analytics/performance monitoring; and Mailgun for campaign email delivery and unsubscribe handling. A sign-in provider you choose and external websites you visit also process information under their own policies.

Authorized administrators can access account and campaign information needed for support and operations. Providers receive information necessary for their services, such as email addresses and message content for delivery. We may disclose records as legally required or as necessary to investigate abuse and protect users. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

OrashCat LLC is based in the United States. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy rules may differ. International transfers must meet applicable legal requirements. Contact privacy@seenime.com for information about the processing locations and transfer safeguards relevant to your data.

6. Analytics, storage and email

Essential authentication storage and language preferences support the features you use. Optional Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights load only after you accept analytics. Vercel Web Analytics uses request-derived identifiers rather than third-party advertising cookies; it reports aggregate traffic. Speed Insights measures page performance. Our integration excludes account, profile, post and search URLs and removes query strings and fragments from measurement URLs.

Use Cookie preferences on the Cookie Policy page to accept or reject optional measurements at any time. Rejecting or withdrawing stops future optional measurements; it does not reverse data already processed. Your choice lasts up to 180 days on this browser.

Campaign emails include an unsubscribe link managed by Mailgun. Our campaign sender disables Mailgun open pixels and click tracking. Mailgun still processes delivery, bounce, complaint and unsubscribe information. Unsubscribing from promotions does not prevent necessary security or account messages.

7. Retention and account closure

We retain account and content data while needed to provide your account and requested features. You can remove content using available controls. To close your account or request deletion or an export, email privacy@seenime.com; account closure is handled through support, not an automatic self-service button.

Retention after a request depends on the type of record, unresolved security or support issues, legal obligations, claims and provider backup cycles. Records no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted or anonymized. Unsubscribe/suppression information is retained as needed to honor your choice. Browser storage lifetimes are described in the Cookie Policy. Ask us for retention details applicable to your request.

8. Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, a copy or portability, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Where applicable, you may appeal a denied request and complain to your local data-protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Email privacy@seenime.com with your request and account email or username. Authorized agents may contact us with evidence of authority. We may request proportionate verification to protect your account; do not email your password. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or refusal.

California and other US state rights apply when the relevant law covers our processing. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising. An opt-out preference signal is not treated as consent to optional analytics.

9. Children and security

Seenime is not intended for children under 13. You must also meet the age and parental-authorization requirements that apply in your country. If you believe a child has provided information contrary to these requirements, contact privacy@seenime.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information. No system is completely secure. Protect your credentials and report suspected unauthorized access to support@seenime.com.

10. Changes and contact

We update the date above when this notice changes and provide additional notice for material changes where required. A privacy notice explains processing; continued use is not consent to a new optional processing purpose.
