Cookie Policy

1. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies store small values in your browser. Local storage can remain until cleared, while session storage normally lasts for the browser tab session. This policy covers those technologies and optional measurements used by Seenime.

2. Storage needed for requested features

• Supabase authentication cookies (names beginning sb-): session tokens and sign-in verification needed to keep you signed in securely. The current authentication library sets a browser-cookie lifetime of up to 400 days, renewed when cookies are refreshed. Token/session validity can be shorter; signing out clears the active browser session.
• seenime_return_to: remembers the internal page to return to after sign-in; expires after 10 minutes.
• seenime_locale: remembers your language; lasts up to one year and may be renewed when your language is synchronized.
• seenime:cookie-consent in local storage: records the policy version, optional analytics choice and choice time. The choice expires after 180 days; older or invalid choices do not authorize analytics.
• Recent search local storage: remembers your recent searches on this browser until you clear them or clear site data.
• Administrators only: local campaign drafts remain until cleared or reset; send-recovery session storage lasts for the tab session or until cleared by the workflow. Avoid storing drafts on shared devices.

3. Optional analytics and performance

With your permission, Seenime loads Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure traffic and page performance. These are optional even though Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies. They may process page paths, referrers, approximate location, browser/device information and performance measurements.

Our integration limits measurement URLs to the homepage, legal pages, community guide and anime pages. It removes query strings and fragments and excludes account, profile, post and search URLs. Vercel documents a 24-hour lifespan for its Web Analytics visitor identifier; that is not a promise that all aggregate reports are deleted after 24 hours. We do not use advertising cookies.

4. Your choice

Optional measurement scripts are off until you select Accept analytics. Reject optional keeps them off. Closing a page, continuing to browse, or a choice stored by the previous banner does not count as acceptance.

Use the controls on this page at any time to change your choice. Withdrawing reloads the page to stop previously loaded measurement scripts. Your choice is browser-specific, lasts up to 180 days and may be requested again after a policy-version change or cleared storage. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to this visit.

You can also clear or block cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking authentication or preference storage can prevent sign-in or remembering your settings. Rejecting optional analytics does not disable those core features.

5. Email and external services

Mailgun delivers campaign emails and handles unsubscribe requests. Seenime’s campaign sender disables Mailgun open and click tracking. Delivery and suppression records are still processed. External websites and sign-in providers have their own storage practices; consult their notices when you use them.
